GLOBAL WORK

In 2007, Mending the Soul began its work to equip and train global leaders to bring healing to the most traumatized populations of our world with the fewest resources.

God led Mending the Soul first to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, as it has some of the highest abuse rates in the world. The United Nations has called it the “rape epicenter of the world". But in the midst of incalculable suffering and evil, by the grace of God and the generosity of His people, Mending the Soul’s trauma care models and resources are being implemented successfully throughout East Africa and beyond!

This is accomplished through annual summits, conferences, trainings, radio broadcasts, and mentorship to develop and support thousands of Mending the Soul directors, trainers, and facilitators throughout East Africa! In 2022 alone, Mending the Soul provided trauma care to 400,000 people worldwide!

As Mending the Soul advances against the forces of darkness in East Africa and beyond, God’s love and light shine all the brighter. Many of our global pastors are now using Mending the Soul resources as their primary means of evangelism. Not only are hearts being mended, but lives are being saved!

Our global partners need your prayers and support more than they ever have.

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions and be alert and always keep praying for all the Lord’s people (Ephesians 6:10-18, NIV).

Mending the Soul’s global mission is to bring Christ’s healing to the most traumatized populations in the world, who have the fewest resources.
